The pictures at the top of the page

Hi, this is the first post and I thought I would let you know about the picture at the top of the page. It’s a photo I took of Mount Warning at sunrise from the Border Ranges in northern New South Wales.

Mount Warning is part of a very large caldera. A caldera is a bowl shaped depression formed by the collapse of the ground that once was a volcano.

So there you go, the peaceful and now productive Tweed Valley was once a massive volcano, a most inhospitable place.

Change, stability and the balance of nature, all temporary concepts in an evolving world.
